Kate specializes in scripted and unscripted production. She received the Canadian Media Producers Association’s Kevin Tierney Emerging Producer Award for the dramatic comedy Portraits From a Fire, which received a theatrical release on 33 screens across Canada.
Her credits include the feature documentary Lunatic: The Luna Vachon Story, the CTV series Farming for Love, the CBC Gem series Future Futures, the documentary No Fun City, Path of Pilgrims, Rangwang and Tanya Tagaq’s Prism Prize-nominated music video Retribution.
Kate’s work has screened at TIFF, VIFF, imagineNATIVE and DOXA and has appeared on Crave, CBC, Super Channel, Knowledge Network, Vision TV, APTN and Air Canada. She is president of Black Moon Media.
